Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Ireland
The royal arch degree in eighteenth century Ireland was conferred by craft and Templar bodies, and two of the latter had been issuing royal arch warrants since at least 1790. In order to centralise control, a meeting of fifty-three chapters took place in June, 1829. A preparatory convocation of Supreme Grand Chapter, with the Duke of Leinster on the First Grand Principal's throne, was held in December that year.
Stated Meetings
Stated convocations are held at 8.00 pm on the first Wednesdays of February, May, and November, and the third Wednesday in June. The Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Instruction holds stated convocations in Dublin at 7.30 pm on the third Thursdays of November, February, and April, and in Belfast at 3.00 pm on the third Saturdays of October, January and March.
